The Orexin receptors (OX1 and OX2) are stimulated by the smart drug compound Armodafinil in the Nuvigil smart pill. Soon after this the medication activates the Orexin peptides of the body. Dopamine, the neurotransmitter in the body is also impacted following this. The Dopamine neurotransmitter is responsible for the wakefulness, cognitive enhancement of the brain, along with mood elevation and the regulation of the wake-up cycle. The Dopamine neurotransmitter reuptake is inhibited by the Armodafinil smart drug. This inhibition causes a pool of Dopamine to be formed that is later used by the body for its daily activities and for keeping the person in a good mood with properly maintained focus. Other hormones like Norepinephrine, Histamine and Serotonin are also increased.
