With its inception in 1998, Viagra has come up with many variants, helping so many people revisit their relationship and live happily again. PDE5 inhibitors influence the blood level in the blood vessels of the penis. Erectile dysfunction, as we all know, is caused by the lack of accumulated blood in the blood vessels.

PDE5 inhibitor based ED pills like Viagra relax the muscles of the male genitals. This allows blood to gush into the vessels causing an erection that is firm enough for intercourse, lasting longer than usual.




Viagra is however a strong ED drug hence proper care should be taken so that there are no unwanted medical consequences. Overdosing can have many effects that might even lead to death in some cases.

  • Fluctuations in blood pressure
  • Heartbeat irregularities
  • Blurry vision
  • Sudden decrease or loss of hearing
  • Dizziness
  • Ringing in ears


Medical professionals state that Viagra usually stays in the blood for 24 hours, hence it is recommended to take one pill of Viagra a day, as needed. Also there is the question of the strength of the medication taken. Viagra comes in power ranges of 100 mg, 150 mg and 200 mg for the generic versions. Taking the ED pill can help in proper strength and doses can help in effectively fighting the ailment and lead a happy and satisfied life.
